Well..., I asked my lovely bride out on a date..., and she said yes! Last night we went out on a date! Our typical definition of a date is ordering Chinese food, getting some wine, and watching a movie at home. I wanted to go some place nice where we would have to dress up. We went to an "artsy" part of town, found a romantic restaurant, and had a great dinner and good, fun conversation. It was so nice. After dinner we went for a brisk walk (it was cold), stopped by a Martini bar with a Jazz band, and then came back home, before midnight... We plan to have a nice date once a month...

I think that is such a great idea. I can't tell you how long it has been since my husband and I have been out without the kids...not counting my friend's wedding in August.

Sounds really nice. Good for you. Tom and I had a standing date night (Friday) when the kids were home. Sometimes we were so broke we just went for a walk on the beach or got an ice cream cone at McDonalds, but we still got out. I think it is really important to do that.
Funny, we rarely go out on "dates" now that it's just the two of us at home. Maybe I should reinstate that date night. We are getting too boring!

Okay, I need a picture of Angie so I can truly picture you two jazzing it up and taking that brisk walk. What do you say, Angie? Would you like to reveal yourself to us????
