Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord have mercy.

To Saint Peregrine
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Oh my goodness.

I'm so sorry for your son's friend and his parents. How awful to be a kid in that situation, worried sick about both parent's. I will pray for the family, particularly for the healing of the Mum and Dad, but that God will give them the strength to cope with whatever lies ahead for them.

Also, regards the Scoutmaster. I will pray. It's so overwhelming when freak accidents happen like that.

Gayla and her Mother, I was aware of and they are both constantly on my mental prayer list.

But, Lorna...I'm going to go over there now...

God Bless.

aw hector thank you

actually I went for the op back in October only there was a mix up and they sent me home (luckily they didnt' remove something else by mistake)

but since then I've not had any pain from that - so I really wonder if I've been healed and how to get that checked.

That said both my father and his mother died of bowel cancer (or related too) and so I would ask for prayers for that . That it would not be inherited by me or our children. It's a real fear.

he died from being hit by the car*

There is so much going on right now!!! This is so awful. My heart goes out to this little boy and to the scoutmaster.

This year has really started out on a rough road.

Thank you, Hector, for continuing to remember my mom (and me). I'm deeply touched by your kindness.

Oh Hector - I just haven't had a chance to catch up on everyone's blogs - would you pop over to my place and let me know how things are going with your daughter?

So many people needing prayers. Thank you for making me aware of others needs.

Thanks everyone for your prayers. Unfortunately the gentelman hit by the car died. May his soul rest in peace and may God comfort and protect this boy.

Regarding my other post on Sarah, Argent's DRE, she has been removed from the respirator, but remains in serious condition in the ICU.

There seems to be a lot of health issues. Let's support each other through prayer.

Praying here.
