We get attacked constantly. By people that don't have God in their hearts and want to cause harm. By comments or actions that hurt us. Be evil in the world. By our own temptations, anger, and pride. What do we need to do so God would protect us? Nothing.
Simply, seek him in the silence. Give Him the gift of quiet space. Set aside time to live in his presence, to be.
