As a veteran myself, I pray that God can heal the hearts and bodies of so many veterans that have experienced unspeakable horrors in many wars, and lately, in Iraq and Afghanistan. I give thanks for their sacrifice and I pray that government leaders all over the world would do everything possible to avoid future conflicts and future loss of precious life. May war be truly waged as a last resort.
